This is the new novel by Elvis Del Valle and is a horror story inspired by Coraline and films by Tim Burton and John Carpenter. The main characters of this story are Ren and Carl, two friends that move to a small place called Autumn Yard for some weeks out. Everything goes just fine until Carl is visited by his brother Max who was murder some time ago. His appearing had something to do with Autumn Yard’s cemetery which some people said it’s cursed. It’s up to these two fellas and their new neighbor named Jeff to discover the mystery of the curse that shocks Autumn Yard.
This story originally began as one of Elvis’ comics which he made in 2009. The original first draft was reserved to turn it into a future movie, but Elvis decided to turn it into a novel which it was helpful to extend the story and give more details about the warlock Radcliff and Mayor Peter Robertson who didn’t have name in the original plot. Many new scenes and details were added in the novel including another ending which leaves the same question from the original draft about if the curse had being finally broken at the end. It’s a mysterious ending kind of Stephen King or John Carpenter’s The Fog. Original title was Curse Of The Dead, but it was change since such name sounded like a George Romero’s movie. The making of this novel began in 2018 and Elvis tried to got it ready for Halloween of that year, but he went back to work on Demon Force Episode 5 and left this book unfinished until September and October of 2019. This book was finally done for Halloween season and published along Elvis Del Valle’s new album “The Rocky Horror Album Show” and new episodes to Radio Stories. Elvis designed the cover based on The Wall with a similar screaming face, but coming from a tombstone instead of a wall and with eyeholes bleedings just like The Rocky Horror Album Show’s cover. The sneak peek to announce this book was recorded with a cell phone Sandra Madonna bought for her son Elvis. He took it as a good opportunity to show his face again after “Aquatic Sensibility” and he recorded himself in a room with lights out and a flashlight creating the illusion he was alone in the middle of nowhere joint of background that included sounds from a night forest, zombie moans and a track from The Exorcist to make it more real although Elvis had lame improvisation and edition. Even the spectral face that appears behind him at the end of the announcement is actually a crop from a boogeyman’s drawing made by Stephen King. With this, Elvis opens the chances to make future live action videos with special effects as he always dreamt. Elvis qualify Curse of the Deceased as one of his best writings.

Esta es la nueva novela de Elvis Del Valle y es un relato de horror inspirado por Coraline y los films de Tim Burton y John Carpenter. Los protagonistas de esta historia son Ren y Carl, dos amigos que se mudan a un pequeño lugar llamado Autumn Yard por unas semanas libres. Todo va bien hasta que Carl es visitado por su hermano Max que fue asesinado hace un tiempo atrás Su aparición tiene algo que ver con el cementerio de Autumn Yard el cual algunas personas dicen que esta maldito. Depende de estos 2 amigos y su nuevo vecino llamado Jeff para descubrir el misterio de la maldición que azota Autumn Yard.
Este relato originalmente comenzó como uno de los comics de Elvis los cuales hizo en el 2009. El primer borrador original estaba reservado para convertirla en una futura película, pero Elvis decidió volverla una novela lo cual favoreció a extender la historia y dar más detalles sobre el brujo Radcliff y el alcalde Peter Robertson quienes no tenían nombre en la trama original. Muchas escenas nuevas y detalles fueron agregados en la novela incluyendo otro final el cual deja la misma pregunta del borrador original si la maldición ha sido finalmente quebrada al final. Es un misterioso final tipo Stephen King o La Niebla de John Carpenter. El titulo original era Curse Of The Dead (La Maldición de Los Muertos), pero fue cambiado ya que el titulo se asemejaba al de una película de George Romero. La creación de esta novela comenzó en 2018 y Elvis trato de tenerla lista para el Halloween de aquel año, pero regreso a trabajar en el episodio 5 de Demon Force y dejo este libro incompleto hasta septiembre y octubre del 2019. Este libro fue finalmente terminado para la temporada de Halloween y publicado junto al Nuevo álbum de Elvis Del Valle “The Rocky Horror Album Show” y nuevos episodios de Radio Historias. Elvis diseño la portada basada en The Wall con un rostro gritón semejante, pero saliendo de una lápida en vez de un muro con orificios oculares sangrando como la portada de The Rocky Horror Album Show. El avance para anunciar este libro fue grabado con un celular que Sandra Madonna le compro a su hijo Elvis. Lo tomo como una buena oportunidad para mostrar su rostro de nuevo después de “Sensibilidad Acuática” y se grabó en una habitación con las luces apagadas y una linterna creando la ilusión de que estaba solo en medio de la nada acompañado de un fondo que incluía sonidos de bosque nocturno, gemidos zombi y una pista de El Exorcista para hacerlo más real a pesar de que Elvis tenía una pésima improvisación y edición. Incluso el rostro espectral que aparece detrás de el al final del anuncio es en realidad un recorte de un dibujo de El Cuco hecho por Stephen King. Con esto, Elvis abre las posibilidades de hacer futuros videos de acción viva con efectos especiales como siempre soñó. Elvis califica a Curse Of The Deceased como uno de su mejores escritos.
