Ven A Reír (EP)

Este es un EP creado para Mónica Velasco alias Lightning Flame. Consiste en 4 covers de My Little Pony que ella hizo entre 2021 y 2022 justo después de que se creara el álbum Melodías Mágicas. Este EP no se creó más antes porque había intenciones de esperar a que Lightning hiciera más canciones para un segundo álbum. Pero ella comenzó a enfocarse en su serie de audiolibros de Los Gatos Guerreros y muchos de sus siguientes covers fueron subidos a TikTok. Además, Lightning comenzó a trabajar como actriz de doblaje en películas y series, aunque esperaba que su participación en Demon Force fuera su gran debut actoral de no ser por los problemas técnicos que detuvieron la creación de los nuevos episodios. Después de cinco años de espera, al final decidí crear este EP que reúne cuatro canciones enfocadas en el personaje de Pinkie Pie. Lo más sorprendente de estos covers es que Lightning fue capaz de imitar la voz de Pinkie Pie y lo hizo a la perfección. Crear este EP fue importante debido a que tuve una participación en la cuarta canción. Aunque mi canto en esta última pista no envejeció bien, no quería dejarla fuera de mi catálogo. Esta canción tuvo que ser modificada para evitar reclamo de copyright. Esperaba poder seguir colaborando con Lightning Flame en próximas canciones, pero tras esta colaboración y no recibir una respuesta, ella y yo seguimos con nuestros caminos separados. Lightning se enfocó más en sus estudios, su nueva serie de audiolibros y su vocación como actriz de doblaje. Mientras yo seguí adelante enfocándome en la música, vlogs y videoclips. Ahora con este EP quise reavivar la afiliación que tuvimos y aunque parece poco probable que volvamos a trabajar juntos, decidí limitarme a distribuir sus canciones en otras plataformas para ayudarla a seguir creciendo. Era lo menos que podía hacer al tratarse de alguien que me apoyó durante mi primera etapa en YouTube. La portada la diseñé inspirándome en imágenes de Pinkie Pie y la intención era que fuese algo alegre. Al momento de preparar el lanzamiento, la fecha fue fichada para el primero de abril coincidiendo con El Día De Los Inocentes. Fue una buena idea escoger esa fecha para el lanzamiento dado la temática del EP. Este EP es más que nada un regalo para Lightning Flame haciéndole saber que no rompí mi promesa de distribuir sus canciones en plataformas como Spotify y que ese es el apoyo que le seguiría brindando.

This is an EP created for Mónica Velasco, also known as Lightning Flame. It consists of 4 My Little Pony covers that she made between 2021 and 2022, right after the Melodías Mágicas album was created. This EP was not created earlier because there were intentions to wait for Lightning to make more songs for a second album. But she began to focus on her series of audiobooks of Warriors and many of her subsequent covers were uploaded to TikTok. Additionally, Lightning began working as a voice actress in movies and series, although she had hoped that her participation in Demon Force would be her big acting debut if it weren't for the technical issues that halted the creation of the new episodes. After five years of waiting, I finally decided to create this EP that brings together four songs focused on the character of Pinkie Pie. The most surprising thing about these covers is that Lightning was able to imitate Pinkie Pie's voice and did it perfectly. Creating this EP was important because I had a part in the fourth song. Although my singing on this last track didn't age well, I didn't want to leave it out of my catalog. This song had to be modified to avoid copyright claims. I hoped to continue collaborating with Lightning Flame on future songs, but after this collaboration and not receiving a response, she and I went our separate ways. Lightning focused more on her studies, her new series of audiobooks, and her vocation as a voice actress. While I moved on focusing on music, vlogs, and music videos. Now with this EP, I wanted to revive the affiliation we had, and although it seems unlikely that we will work together again, I decided to limit myself to distributing her songs on other platforms to help her continue growing. It was the least I could do for someone who supported me during my early days on YouTube. I designed the cover inspired by images of Pinkie Pie, and the intention was for it to be something cheerful. When preparing the release, the date was set for April 1st, coinciding with April Fool's Day. It was a good idea to choose that date for the release given the theme of the EP. This EP is more than anything a gift for Lightning Flame, letting them know that I didn't break my promise to distribute their songs on platforms like Spotify and that this is the support I would continue to provide.
